Eli David Rodriguez, 54, died on April 25, 2019, at his home in Chatsworth, CA.
He was born on November 20, 1964 in Chihuahua, Mexico, son of Maria Teresa Rodriguez and
Jose Ignacio Rodriguez.
David went to Hazeltine Avenue Elementary School in Van Nuys, Northridge Junior High and
Cleveland High School in Reseda, CA.
As a child he was a Boy Scout and loved riding bikes all of his life. He loved music and loved
to dance.
He never married and didn’t have any children. He always had a smile on his face, and had a
quick sense of humor. He was friendly to everyone he met.
As a child he lived in Mexico, then moved to the San Fernando Valley, CA where he lived most
of his life.
He was a talented cook by trade and last worked at Gelsons.
His hobbies included bike riding and listening to music. He loved watching the L.A. Dodgers
play.
He battled cancer.
He is predeceased by a sister, Lucy.
He is survived by his parents, Maria Teresa Rodriguez of Laguna Hills, CA
Jose Ignacio Rodriguez, of Mexico.
