Marion Lorraine Doolittle

Marion Doolittle, 94, of Northridge, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Panorama City, CA. She was in Hospice care at  LovingCare facility. She was blessed by a Priest from the St. Genevieve Church before passing.

No funeral services will be held. Instead, a private ceremony will be done with the scattering of her ashes. Cremation will be done by Crawford Mortuary 

Marion was born in Connecticut to Josephine Hochelein and Henry W. Quarz on October 16, 1929. She married Roy Doolittle, the love of her life on August 3, 1983. She graduated from the College of Allied Health Careers in Los Angeles as a certified occupational therapist. Marion started an AA group in Wallingford, Connecticut, which was a very successful endeavor involving very many people. She volunteered for the Alcoholism Council of the greater Los Angeles, counseling other alcoholics and their families.

One of Marion’s great achievements was taking care of her own family. She loved life. She was always a lady. Now, over the horizon her spirit soars. Graceful and elegant, she dances with the wind. Her laughter was like a melody, pure and unconfined in her eyes, the wisdom of the ages, a beauty that shall always endure.

Marion is preceded in death by husband Roy Doolittle; her cousin John Rafter; her son Russell Wilson II; her eldest son Jack Breuler; her granddaughter Cheri Shaw; her sister Dolores Bennett; her brother-in-law Robert Bennett and her brother William Quarz.
Marion is survived by her brother Robert Quarz and his wife Rose; her son Mark Wilson and his wife Ruby, their children Melinda and Kimberly; her daughter Dawn Shaw, her children, Tammy, Rhonda and John Stansbury; her youngest son Carl Wilson, and his wife Shari , their daughter Carleigh and sister in law Debbie Quarz.

Grandchildren, Nieces and nephews: Cindy Bennett,  Mike Bennett, Michelle Ferro, Angela Pascale,  Valerie Quarz, Robbie Quarz, Jeffrey Quarz, Selene Bernardo, Donna Quarz, Diane Quarz.

And many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
